2022 Pinot Noir, Stoneburn Vineyards, Marlborough, New Zealand

Stoneburn Pinot Noir is medium bodied with strawberry and black cherry fruit aromas.  The palate combines the flavours of black cherry, spice and subtle French oak to produce a soft full wine.

Stoneburn is owned by Hunter’s Vineyard, but operated separately. The vineyard here is in an old riverbed whose stones retain warmth and give the fruit a high degree of ripeness. The Pinot benefits from this microclimate and delivers great expression of flavour at a very modest price. 

Food recommendation - Grilled poultry and feathered game. Plain roasted red meats.
