Baron de Sigognac 10 Year Old, Armagnac, France

Candied orange, cinnamon and vanilla on the nose. On the palate there is floral, woody and spicy notes, with delightful hints of almonds and vanilla on the finish. Armagnac is generally seen as rounder, fuller and more flavourful than Cognac, and the Baron de Sigognac range is very well made.

The company owns one short column still which is almost a century old, and it produces around 50-60 casks a year.
